Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Stadt Deutz seit 1888 Stadtteil von Köln: „In Blau eine silberne (weiße) sechseckig im Grundriss geformte Ringmauer, sechs runden dreizinnigen Türmen an den Ecken, mit je einer schwarzen Fensteröffnung unterhalb der Zinnen, unten und oben je eine über den Giebeln, dreizinnig überbrückte Toröffnungen mit je zwei schwarzen Fensteröffnungen unterhalb der Zinnen.“
Das Wappen zeigt das alte Deutzer Kastell.
English: „Azure, a hexagonal fuselaged wall, at the corners six round embattled towers with one slit sable below the battlements; ahead and rear a gate with a gable and embattled towers, charged with two slits sable.“
The arms show the old Deutz castle.
