Coat of arms InfoField | English: the City of Dinslaken |

Die Stadt Dinslaken führt diese historische Version gleichberechtigt neben der modernen Version (s. unten)English: „Argent, a castle gules behind an embattled wall with an embattled tower, ahead and rear two smaller towers gules with steeples.“
The arms were officially granted on April 23, 1928, but the arms have been used for centuries. Dinslaken received city rights in 1273 by Dietrich IV of Kleve. The first seal, which was probably made shortly afterwards, already shows a similar image. In smaller seals and now also in the arms, the city walls and the castle have only been simplified. |
