Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Dürwiß seit 1972 Stadtteil von Eschweiler:„In Silber (Weiß) ein schwarzer Balken, darüber zwei Rosen und darunter ein rote Rose mit goldenen (gelben) Butzen und goldenen (gelben) Kelchblättern.“
Das Gemeindewappen wurde 1955 durch den Innenminister des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen genehmigt. Da Gemeindewappen ist abgeleitet von den Wappen der ehemaligen Gutsbesitzer Drimborn (Rosen) und von Broich (schwarzer Balken auf silbernem Schild).
English: „Argent, a fess sable; above two roses and below one rose gules, seeded and leaved Or.“
The arms were granted in 1955 and are derived from the arms of the lords of Drimborn (roses) and von Broich (Argent a fess sable).
