Die Flagge der Gemeinde Gielow besteht aus gelbem Tuch und ist in der Mitte mit dem Gemeindewappen belegt, das zwei Drittel der Höhe und ein Drittel der Länge des Flaggentuches einnimmt. Die Länge des Flaggentuches verhält sich zur Höhe wie 5 zu 3.
