Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Heeren-Werve, seit 1968 Stadtteil von Kamen: „In Gold (Gelb) ein springendes schwarzes Einhorn.“ Am 9. Juli 1938 verlieh der Oberpräsident der Provinz Westfalen der Gemeinde Heeren-Werve das Wappen. Es entstammt dem Wappen der Herren von Hüchtenbrock, welche von 1620 - 1680 auf Haus Heeren lebte.
English: „Or, an unicorn rampant sable.“ The arms show a unicorn, which is derived from the arms of the medieval family von Hüchtenbrock, which for a long time lived at the castle in Heeren. The unicorn already appeared on the seal of Heeren in 1646.
