Object history Das Eichenblatt steht für die große Forstfläche, das Geweih für den großen Wildbestand. Die diagonal verlaufende Linie, welche Eichenblatt und Geweih trennt, symbolisiert die Namensherkunft des Ortes. Der Name Strimmig, früher Stremig, oder Stremich, ist indogermanisch-keltischen Ursprungs. Strymu = abschüssig, bedeutet so viel wie „im Hang“.
