| Blazon | Deutsch: „Gespalten von Rot und Silber (Weiß); vorne ein silberner (weißer) Schräglinksbalken, hinten pfahlweise drei rote heraldische Rosen.“
Der Schrägbalken enstammt dem Siegel der Herren von Lobdeburg, welche seit 1180 in Oeslau herrschten. Die drei Rosen sind dem Wappen der Herren von Rosenau, Coburger Münzmeister, entnommen, der ehemaligen Herren von Oeslau, welche bereits seit 1340 Besitztümer im Ort hatten. English: „Per pale gules a bend sinister Argent and Argent three paly roses gules.“
The arms are granted on March 17, 1960. The bend is derived from the seal of the Lords of Lobdeburg, who ruled in the village since 1180. The roses are derived from the arms of the Lords of Rosenau. |
