Object history
Deutsch: Der schreitende Hirsch wurde aus dem Familienwappen der Pollinger von Polling übernommen, die vom 12. bis zum 14. Jahrhundert urkundlich belegt sind. Das Hirschwappen ist auf Siegeln des Ortsadelsgeschlechts überliefert. Der silberne Lilienstängel symbolisiert das Kloster Raitenhaslach, das bis zur Säkularisation 1803 als Grundherrschaft im Gemeindegebiet von größerer Bedeutung war. Der Lilienzweig kommt als Marienattribut und Hinweis auf die erste Patronin aller Zisterzienserklöster in der Raitenhaslacher Klosterheraldik seit dem 15. Jahrhundert vor.
