Deutsch: „In Gold (Gelb) unter einem blauen Wellensparren, ein fünftürmiger roter Torbau mit offenem Tor; von den spitzbedachten Zinnentürmen ist der mittlere etwas erhöht.“ In der Haupsatzung ist diese Blasonierung zu finden:„Das Wappen der Samtgemeinde zeigt einen goldenen Schild, unter einem blauen Wellensparren ein offenes Burgtor mit fünf spitzbedachten Zinnentürmen, deren mittlerer höher ist.“
