English: Design for the coat of arms of the district Wohnstadt from the Municipality of Überherrn: „...“
The arms based on a non-heraldic sign of Überherrn-Wohnstadt. Deutsch: Entwurf eines Wappens für den Ortsteil Wohnstadt der Gemeinde Überherrn: „Geviert von Rot und Blau; 1 drei goldene (gelbe) Bäume, der mittlere höher als die beiden äußeren; 2 ein rot bewehrter und gekrönter goldener (gelber) Löwe; 3 drei goldene (gelbe) heraldische Lilien im Verhältnis 2:1; 4 eine aufrechte, gestürzte schwarze Zange, überdeckt von verschränktem schwarzen Schlägel und schwarzen Hammer.“ Das Wappen basiert auf einem nichtheraldischen Zeichen von Ueberherrn-Wohnstadt. Es wurden die Farben des Wappens von Überherrn übernommen. Das Wohnen in Nähe des Warndtwaldes wird durch drei stilisierte Bäume symbolisiert, bei dem Löwen handelt es sich um den Nassau-Saarbrücker Löwen, im dritten Feld sind die drei Lothringer Lilien zu sehen und im vierten Feld Schlägel und Eisen über einer Schmiedezange, das an die Bergbautradition und Stahlindustrie der Region erinnert. |
