Deutsch: Die fünf Kanonenkugeln symbolisieren die Waffen des Franz von Sickingen. Das Mühlrad steht für die zahlreichen Wassermühlen der Gegend in früheren Zeiten. Der Stab steht für den Heiligen Pirminius. Der Pfälzer Löwe befindet sich auch im Wappen des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz.
