Українська: Схематичне зображення переміщення транспозону за допомогою механізму "вирізати і вставити". Ножицями показаний фемент транспозаза, який може бути закодований в цьому самому транспозоні, або у іншому (див. Типи транспозонів – за принципом автономності). Транспозаза робить дволанцюговий розріз ДНК по оби два боки від транспозону, вирізає транспозон і робить дволанцюговий розріз іншої ДНК, куди транспозон вставляється. English: "Cut and paste" mechanism of transposition. Scissors indicate trasposase. Transposase makes a double-strand DNA break on either side of a transposon, cutting it. Then another doube-strand break is made in a target DNA, pasting transposon there. Transposase could be encoded in this transposon or another one (see autonomous and non-autonomous transposons). |
