English: Former USAF Douglas AC-47D (converted from C-47B-1-DK 43-48501) placed on the beach of Ogidonokama, Sado City, Niigata Prefecture (former Hamochi Town), Japan, to shoot the movie "Fly! Dakota". It is a was apinted as the Royal Air Force C-47A-50DL "SISTER ANN" C / N10028 FL510, which became the model of the movie. The snow-capped mountains in the back are the Osado Mountains. |
