Italiano: Palermo - Una delle statue del complesso monumentale detto "I quattro canti", composto da quattro palazzi sormontati da decorazioni barocche e statue dei re spagnoli Carlo V, Filippo II di Spagna, Filippo III di Spagna e Filippo IV di Spagna, di Carlo Aprile (1661/63), e dallo stemma regale della Spagna, potenza che all'epoca dominava la Sicilia. Alla base di ogni edificio sta una fontana monumentale. L'insieme fu costruito fra il 1698 e 1620, ed è uno dei complessi barocchi più significativi della città. |
