Description
English: Daffodils in the pasture. A former Narcissus field. – When the railway came to the Tamar Valley it gained a thriving trade in flowers and soft fruit which could be sold the day after picking in London. Gradually this activity diminished and in some cases the bulb fields were just left to pasture, but the daffodils still come through each spring.
