Description Orig. Flickr desc: The Nueva Ecija side of Dalton Pass as its look from the boundary of Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon. During the bloody Battle of Balete Pass, some 17,000 Filipino, American and Japanese soldiers died here including Brig. Gen. James Dalton II who was one of the 11 American generals to die in World War II. The pass was later renamed in his memory. Nikon D40 (Ifugao Field Visit, January 2010)
