Description
Deutsch: Rapperswil (SG) : Hirschgehege des Schlosses auf dem Lindenhof. Die Haltung der Dama damas geht bis auf die Gründung (1229) der Rosenstadt zurück, die in einer Legende um die (vermeintlich) ungetreue Gattin des Grafen Rudolf beschrieben wird. Das heutige Gehege am nordöstlichen Schlosshügel wird seit 1872 vom Tierwart des Verkehrsvereins betreut, die aktuell zwei Jungtiere sind wohl zwischen 20. und 24. Juni 2011 geboren worden.
