| Description |
English: Damerham: postbox № SP6 243 and phone The postbox is emptied finally at 4pm on weekdays and at 10:45am on Saturdays. It would have been moved here a few years ago from the post office, which was housed in the garage along the road, after the office closed.
The bus stop is now a taxi-stop, with the service having been replaced by a car-share scheme in which you can book your place by telephone up to an hour before the advertised time it calls here. Damerham does not have clever ducks that can post letters, make phone calls and use public transport: the warning sign refers to the fact that the road crosses the Allen River just beyond the shelter. |
