| Description |
English: Danebower colliery remains The lower platform is the area where the tubs of coal would have been brought out of the mine. By the side of the wall at the end can still be seen the entrance to the adit of the mine. This was a later development of the mine which was originally accessed by vertical shafts on the hillside in the left distance. The mine remained active until around 1920. |
