Description
Deutsch: Das Bild zeigt die Meiningenbrücke, eine stählerne Drehbrücke, welche die Halbinsel Zingst mit dem Festland verbindet. Die Brücke wurde 1908/1912 als Eisenbahnbrücke Darßbahn erbaut. Nach der Demontage der Bahnstrecke dient sie heute als Straßenbrücke in Fahrtrichtung Zingst. Zur Entlastung der nur einspurigen ehemaligen Bahnbrücke wurde 1980 eine Pontonbrücke neben der Meinigenbrücke erbaut (rechts im Bild). Über die Pontonbrücke verläuft der Verkehr in Richtung Festland.
