Deutsch: Flügelbild von Adi Holzer. Acrylmalerei auf Holz: «Das Licht der Welt (von Adi Holzer für Matthias Grünewald)». Das Bild oben in der Mitte ist nach dem Auferstehungsbild von Matthias Grünewald im Isenheimer Altar gestaltet. Die Kreuzigungsgruppe zeigt die Kreuzigung von Jesus von Nazaret. Links und rechts unten steht auf dem Flügelbild der Satz: «Nichts kann uns retten außer die Liebe». Der Bildtitel «Das Licht der Welt» bezieht sich auf die Selbstbezeichnung von Jesus von Nazaret «Ich bin das Licht der Welt». Der Satz steht im Johannesevangelium im Kapitel 8 Vers 12.

The picture above in the middle is arranged in accordance with the resurrection image by Matthias Grünewald in the Isenheim altarpiece. The crucifixion scene shows the crucifixion of Jesus. Left and right below stands on the wing image of the sentence: "Nothing can save us except the love." The title, "The light of the world" refers to the self-designation by Jesus of Nazareth, "I am the light of the world". The quotation stands in the Gospel of John chapter 8 verse 12.
