Description
Deutsch: Das Ausflugslokal "Zur Schönen Aussicht" wurde von dem Land- und Gastwirt Johann Scheben 1897 erbaut, aber erst zehn Jahre später verputzt. So erklärt sich die Jahresangabe "1907" an der Fassade. Seit 1897 betrieb Johann Scheben hier eine Gastwirtschaft. Haus Scheben ist im Zusammenhang mit der am Breniger Hang üblichen Villenbebauung zu sehen. Seine Bedeutung gewinnt es durch die fast vollständig erhaltene Originalsubstanz. Die gesamte Anlage repräsentiert das typische Aussehen eines Ausflugslokals im Vorgebirge am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts. Denkmal Nr. 49 der Denkmalliste der Stadt Bornheim
