Description
English: The public health administrators in this photograph met at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) during a Surveillance Course for the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) fellows. The course was held in the CDC's Atlanta offices from April 5, through December 10, 1971. Featured here (left to right) was Dr. Alfredo Arreaza Guzman, Assistant Director, PAHO, Washington D.C.; Dr. David J. Sencer, CDC Director; and Dr. Alvaro Llopis, Regional Advisor, Epidemiology Department of Communicable Diseases, PAHO, Washington D.C.
