Description

De Havilland Venom Role: Fighter-bomber Country of Origin: Britain Max speed 850 kph Max range 1700 km

THe Venom prototype first took off in August 1950. The plane's primary client was the RAF, which had several versions of the Venom manufactured for it. It was also sold to Venezuela, and in our region, it joined the Iraqi Air Force. The plane on exhibit was built in Switzerland and donated to the IAF museum by the Swiss Air Force.
