Description
English: Replica of De Amsterdam (displacement: 1100 tonnes, waterline length: 42.5 m, beam: 11.5 m, draught: 5.5 m) originally built in built in 1748 and lost in the English Channel during its maiden voyage in 1749. This replica was built in 1990 and is located at at the Dutch National Maritime Museum.
Nederlands: Replica van De Amsterdam (waterverplaatsing: 1100 ton, lengte van de kiel: 42,5 m, breedte: 11,5 m; diepgang: 5,5 m) oorspronkelijk gebouwd in 1748 en verloren gegaan in het Engelse Kanaal tijdens zijn eerste reis in 1749. Deze replica is gebouwd in 1990 en bevindt zich in het Nederlands Scheepvaartmuseum.
