public description / public information: The tulip vase or flower holder consists of a pedestal, a vase and a portion of two segments composite lid with spouts. Twisted snakes are modeled as a handle and spread out over the surface of the vase section. As regards the form, it is a Western model as the knerrenrand shows on the pedestal, partly inspired by the (precious) metals examples. It mainly appears in western style, floral decor is closed by oriental style, the edges on the base and in saving technique padded swags on the vase portion of the lid. The beautiful flower arrangements with flying insects as well as naturalistic worked closely rim.
