| Description |
English: Dead badger, Kennels Road near Churston This badger has met its end, as so many others do in this area, on the road. It looks peaceful, but it is sad sight. Plans to cull thousands and thousands of its species in the UK are currently under consideration by the Government. Many believe that bad husbandry by farmers is the cause of the spread of bovine TB. In addition, many other wild animals are known to carry TB, including rats, so the mass extermination of badgers will achieve little, except to placate the farming industry. |
