Description
Deutsch: US Army Divisionsübung "Deeds_Alone_65" (ab 4. Jan. 1965) der 4th (US) Armored Division, VII (US) Corps, hier mit den neuen, ab 1963 eingeführten Panzerhaubitzen M109 des teilnehmenden 6th Battalion, 40th Field Artillery Regiment der 3rd (US) Armored Division. Foto an der westlichen Ortseinfahrt von Rittershausen, Gde. Gaukönigshofen/Unterfranken. Im Hintergrund folgen zwei M577 Funk- u. Führungspanzer mit erhöhtem Kastenaufbau, sowie weitere PzHbz M109. Ganz links zu erkennen ist die zweistreifige 160 m Warnbake des Bahnübergangs der Gaubahn mit einem aufgesetzten Verbotsschild der Überschreitung einer Fahrgeschwindigkeit v. 20 Km/h (dasselbe Warn- u. Verbotsschild war auch an der gegenüberliegenden, rechten Straßenenseite angebracht). Sowie, weiter hinten, die gelbe Ortsendetafel von Ritterhausen mit dem Hinweis "Nach Gelchsheim 5 Km" (wobei nach ca. 2,5 Km zunächst die Gemeinde Sonderhofen erreicht, bzw. durchfahren wird). Rechts das Endstück einer abgerundeten Begrenzungsmauer der Zufahrt des Anwesens "Sonderhöfer Str. 4" in Rittershausen, Siehe auch amtliche topogr. Hinweis: Der Aufnahmezeitpunkt der Fotoserie Hans Stenzel konnte bisher nicht zweifelsfrei geklärt werden, so dass auch die im Winter 1965/66 im Raum Würzburg und Ochsenfurter Gau abgehaltene Divisonsübung "Silver_Talon_66" der 3rd (US) Armored Division, V (US) Corps aus Hessen (Stationierungsorte) infrage kommen kann.
