Description
English: Deep Adit The entrance to the adit is now quite overgrown and therefore not easy to find.

It is the dark hole near to the bottom of this picture.

A stream runs from the rock lined entrance. It is .75 of a kilometre from the remains of the Eylesbarrow Mine buildings. This is the adit shown on the OS 25,000 map.
