English: Pentagon employees were invited to participate in the assembly of four stained glass panels to be installed in the Pentagon Chapel in memory of the 184 victims of the Secptmber 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the building. Each participant was allowed to select a numbered plastic bag containing a piece of glass and place the segment within the frame in its proper position. Visible at the windows in the background are miniature representations of the glass designs. Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will dedicate the chapel windows during a solemn ceremony on the second anniversary of the attack. |
