Description
English: Navy Petty Officer 2nd class Romer C. Tan waits in his tractor to complete a re-spot of a F/A-18C Hornet aboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) during night flight operations in the Sea of Japan on July 30, 2004. The Kitty Hawk Strike Group is one of seven carrier strike groups involved in Summer Pulse 2004, an exercise where seven aircraft carrier strike groups will learn new ways of operating, training, manning and maintaining their fleet. The Kitty Hawk is from Carrier Air Wing 5 in Yokosuka, Japan.
