Description
English: An F-14B Tomcat (left) and an F/A-18C Hornet (right) are readied for launch from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) as it operates in the Atlantic Ocean on Oct. 20, 2004. Washington is conducting carrier strike group sustainment training off the east coast of the United States. The Tomcat is assigned to Fighter Squadron 143 and the Hornet is assigned to Fighter Attack Squadron 131.
