Description
English: Four A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft from the 111th Fighter Wing, Willow Grove Air Reserve Station, Pa., fly in formation after taking on fuel from a KC-10A Extender, on May 25, 2005. The Thunderbolt is designed for close air support of ground forces and can be used against all ground targets including tanks and other armored vehicles.
