Description
English: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Peter Pace, U.S. Marine Corps, Jim Laychak, Rosemary Dillard, Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, Julie Beckman and Keith Kaseman applaud after unveiling an inscribed stone during groundbreaking ceremonies for the Pentagon Memorial on June 15, 2006. The Pentagon Memorial will commemorate the 184 people killed in the Pentagon and on American Airlines Flight 77 on September 11, 2001. Laychak is the President of the Pentagon Memorial Fund and Dillard is the Vice President of the Pentagon Memorial Fund. Beckman and Kaseman are the memorial concept designers.
