English: U.S. Army Spc. Martin Begosh is carried from a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, after being evacuated from Taszar, Hungary, on Jan. 3, 1996. Begosh was wounded Dec. 30 when the Humvee he was driving on patrol struck a land mine in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Begosh is a military policeman with the 709th Military Police Battalion, Hanau Army Post, Germany. He was evacuated from Taszar by the U.S. Air Force 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Begosh is the first soldier wounded in the NATO Operation Joint Endeavor. |
