Description
English: U.S. Navy Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Paul K. Hillard makes a final inspection of the firing pins of 500-pound bombs mounted underneath an F-14B Tomcat of Fighter Squadron 103 (VF-103) "Jolly Rogers" on the flight deck of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) on 6 December 1999. The Eisenhower and its embarked Carrier Air Wing 7 were operating in the Atlantic Ocean as part of Joint Task Force Exercises in preparation for a six-month deployment to the Mediterranean Sea.
