English: U.S. Army infantry recruits leap over hurdles at the Sand Hill confidence course on their fifth day of one station unit training on Fort Benning, Ga., Nov. 3, 2009. The soldiers are infantry recruits assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, 198th Infantry Brigade. This was their first hands-on Army training since entering the military. The confidence course consists of 25 obstacles, including climbing towers, swinging across monkey bars, scaling cargo nets, and navigating the "weaver" - a series of wood planks placed at an incline and then a decline to resemble an upside down "V."
