Description
English: Caterpillar Dendrolimus sibiricus of VI age, infected with a parasite of the genus Cotesia, up to 100 individuals of the parasite can develop in one caterpillar. In this instance, there are 96 individuals of the parasite. After the parasite emerges, it cocoons a cocoon under the host's body. The caterpillar Dendrolimus sibiricus remains on a cushion of parasite cocoons, responding only to external stimuli, without the ability to leave.
