Summary edit

Description
English: The Dera Babour temples are one of four historic sites around Thalora, Udhampur district. The Dera Babour site is the largest temple that sits on a high jagati (platform), a shared mandapa that connects to four sanctums. A flight of steps from the west, followed by a gateway (torana pratoli) leads the pilgrim to the eight pillared mandapa. Each sanctum had an antarala. Of the four sanctums, only three survive. This is likely a 10th-century temple.
