| Description |
(1 in a multiple picture album) I love to watch people as they approach the edge of the Grand Canyon. I can almost guess which ones are doing it for the first time. As someone wrote, "When you first see the Grand Canyon, all you can do is look." The first timers usually stand still and gaze for some time. Then they turn and there is a sense of wonder mixed with peace on their faces. Note the Colorado River in the center as it begins its descent into the canyon. |
