English: Detail of relief depicting an Athenian warrior conquering an enemy. The relief was once part of the ornamentation of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. These fragments are now known as the Elgin Marbles and are held in the collections of the British Museum. Photographed at the British Museum by Mary Harrsch.
