English: Oil platform (Platform Holly of the South Ellwood Offshore field - Google Maps) in the Santa Barbara Channel, seen from Devereux Lagoon (a.k.a. Devereux Slough) in Goleta, Santa Barbara County, California, U.S.A. at sunset. Lights on the oil platform had just been turned on; see another photo from about 20 minutes earlier as a comparison. In the background are the Channel Islands.
