Description
English: Diadoumenos, thus winning athlete. The island marble from around 100 BC is a copy of the famous statue of Polykleitos, ca 420 BC. Finding: Delos, House of Diadoumenos. National Archaeological Museum of Athens N1826. (Pillar is about appendix of copyist.)
Čeština: Diadúmenos, tedy ověnčený atlet. Ostrovní mramor z doby kolem roku roku 100 před n. l. je kopií slavné sochy Polykleitovy z doby kolem roku 420 před n. l. Nález: Délos, "Dům s Diadúmenem". Národní archeologické Museum v Athénách, N 1826. (Opora je asi dodatkem kopisty.)
