English: Time series showing changes in LT evoked by 15 min of 100 µM ouabain exposure in a neocortical slice prepared from tissue obtained from a 7 y.o. female patient (patient # 7, see Patient Table S1). Time 0 corresponds to the beginning of ouabain exposure. A slice superfused with standard ACSF undergoes propagating terminal depolarization within ∼5 min of ouabain application. The terminal depolarization is imaged as an elevated LT (blue-yellow pseudocoloring signifying cell swelling). |
