Next to Holocaust memorial /other name: Holocaust gate/ by Ildikó Polgár (2004) is a plaque (1990) on building firewall with engravings star of David, the Ten Commandments, a menorah and synagogue, and with inscrption: 'This is where the ghetto began/384 Jews departed from here to the extermination camps on June 19, 1944.//This is where the synagogue of the Jewish community of Körmend stood, built in neoclassical style in 1865, burned down on March 28, 1945.//Erected as a memorial by the Körmend City Council 1990' - At Széchenyi István Street and Dienes Lajos Street corner, Körmend, Vas County, Hungary.
