Description
Español: Esta cabeza colosal 7 fue descubierta en 1969 por el arqueólogo Francisco Beverido Pereau. Esta sumamente deteriorada por mutilación intencional y efectos de intemperización. Su tocado con diseños simétricos de anillos de contorno irregular y de un moño con bandas o plumas en la parte posterior revelan el rango del personaje retratado. Esta pieza se encuentra ubicada en el Museo de Antropología de Xalapa, Veracruz.
English: This 7th colossal head was discovered in 1969 by the archaeologist Francisco Beverido Pereau. It is highly impaired by intentional mutilation and weathering effects. His headdress with symmetrical designs of irregularly contoured rings and a bun with bands or feathers on the back reveal the range of the character portrayed. This piece is located in the Museum of Anthropology of Xalapa, Veracruz.
