Description
English: Diffusion into a semi-infinite medium with: C(x=0,t)=C0=1, C(x>0,t=0)=0, C(x,t)=C0·erfc(x/sqrt(4·D·t)), D=0.00001, t<= 50000 (See http://www.ptl.ethz.ch/education/Mass_Transfer/Lecture_2.pdf for the mathematical background.) The medium is depicted only for x<=1. The GIF was created using ImageMagick from Bitmaps, which were created with R.
