Dingley Cottage at Rockhampton Heritage Village, 2021

Summary edit

Description
English: Dingley Cottage, an original mid-20th century cottage which was relocated to the Rockhampton Heritage Village following the death of its occupant, Alice Dingley. Alice Dingley lived in the cottage for around 70 years in its original location in the suburb of The Range prior to her death in 2008. During that time, the cottage essentially remained unchanged and was never connected to electricity or running water, and was therefore worthy of its inclusion among the historical building at the Rockhampton Heritage Village, an open air museum in the suburb of Parkhurst in the regional Australian city of Rockhampton, Queensland.
