English: Dirtness Pumping Station. Many square miles of this part of North Lincolnshire are only 2 or 3 metres above sea level and can only be farmed thanks to extensive drains. This pumping station spans North Engine Drain. Woodcarr Drain is just out of the photograph to the right of the long straight road.
