| Description |
English: Disused lock at Pratts Wharf, Staffs & Worcs Canal The disused lock at Pratts Wharf which closed about 1949. The River Stour is in the far distance and the lock gave access to this from the Staffs & Worcs Canal. The river was navigable for about a mile to Wilden to give access to various industrial premises there. The lock is now heavily overgrown with vegetation but what remains can be seen more easily in the winter months. |
